During her time at the Open University, Chris was truly an excellent Curriculum Manager. I count myself very lucky to have had such a wonderful colleague and friend, always so helpful, cheerful and supportive. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and she went about her work in a quiet and efficient manner, indeed i think ‘efficiency’ was her middle name! A true professional in everything she did.  She enriched the lives of the many she touched there, and will be sadly missed. I am so pleased that we stayed in touch when we both retired from the OU, and it was great to hear how she was enjoying her retirement.

An immensely brave and inspirational lady.
